Whatever, you face the fucking fear and you face it head on. Because it's going to happen anyway, and it’s not a bad thing! It’s called evolution.

Whatever character you play, remember they are always doing something. They are not just talking. They are alive; going through a drama in which they will go through some sort of dramatic human experience.

“I find crying difficult. It takes a long time for me to go. And I won’t know what will send me. I’m quite sentimental. If my son tells me he loves me, that will make me cry. Mr. Holland’s Opus, unbelievably broke me. A random anomaly. Bambi would probably do me. Or Shrek. And yeah, I did go in Warrior as well. The relapse of Paddy, when I put him to bed and give him a kiss, I was like, ‘Yeah, I get that. I’ve been there.’”

My true face? I am just me … I am also a father and a son. And I have friends, a girlfriend, we live in a beautiful house outside of London, a middle class area, I’ve attended good schools. Then I become an actor, then I had problems with alcohol and drugs, then I’ve been successful, and tomorrow who knows. I am me, in fact. This is my real face.

I like to be other people, not me. And when you’re on the red carpet, it’s like, ‘Here’s Tom Hardy.’ I don’t want to be me. That’s why I play other people. -THardy.

I’ll do anything to be both a better boyfriend and a better father. That sounds really worthy, doesn’t it? But it’s what I believe I have to do.

Bottom line, Forrest is a mum, even though I’m physically the most dangerous of all three, Forrest is there to clean, cook, wear the apron, stash the money, look after his brothers. None of this stuff is tough-guy shit ya’know? I’ve got brass knuckles and a cigar in my hat and a Clint Eastwood beard, plus muscles growing from Batman, cause I’m working on another job at the same time-instead of moonshine I’m moonlighting. But I’ve also got a cardigan. I’m not ashamed to wear that. It’s soft. The cardigan is a flag of maternal instinct."

I think he worried it would be something I might not consider because wearing a mask might damage my career or something. He thought I’d be worried that the audience couldn’t see my beautiful face. Like I care. It’s Chris Nolan! I would wear a paper bag over my head for that man."

The real love story is between Chris Pine and Tom Hardy. They compare penis size. They walk away from hot ladies to beat the shit out of guys while gazing into each others’ eyes. Pine is told they have work to do. A German with a giant chin steps into the room. “Yes we do”, he says, while trying to conceal his boner. The two men talk about love and commitment – you know what guys actually talk about? Nothing, that’s what. Hardy’s character actually says “I would take a bullet for you, I love you, you know… you know what we have, together… don’t you want that with a woman?” Of course, Pine answers in the negative. Oh, and they go on a date together and Hardy meets Pine’s mother. Even the inevitable fight between them brims with sexual tension, while any makeout scene with the girl is more awkward and forced than the explanation any guy in the audience will have for their date about where their erection came from. And look at the leads. Witherspoon has the sexual dynamism of a concrete block. Meanwhile, Pine and Hardy are pinup material. Pine gives off a vibe that suggests that he is rather flexible in these matters. And Tom Hardy is… well, every man in the audience of his films is bisexual by definition. I’d give the man an enthusiastic handjob, and I’m not even gay. I think."

Chris is a good fighter. He’s got this kind of jazz hand style, which is kind of scary. It’s like going up against someone from Westside Story."

I heard that someone thinks I was really genuinely upset with Jonathan Ross. Not at all.

“It was funny as hell and embarrassing yes, but I was in on the gag and winding Jonathan up to put him in an awkward seat for a laugh.”

One member of the audience said he refused to answer questions about the new Batman film, but Tom explained: “No one on the Batman unit can utter a word about the film. Me and Jonny were messing around. I’m sorry if people got the wrong impression and feel that I was an a**hole.

“If people want a good laugh at me desperately trying to get up the ladder, tell ‘em to watch Minotaur. That’s a pile of s***.”

"
Tom’s response to the Wossy reports in The Sun.  We’ve all seen his 2010 appearance, so yeah.  This makes sense.  And Minotaur is a classic for the goat acting alone. (via notmyhairitisapalm)
